Day 1: Welcome to Panama

Day 2: The Three Cities of Panama
Today we will go to the Historic Monumental Complex of Panama Viejo to learn about its exciting history that begins with its foundation in 1519 and that reaches fame for being the transit route between the Atlantic and the Pacific, as well as the center of expeditions to the north, center and south. America, until its denouement after the attack of the famous English privateer Henry Morgan. We will tour the museum and walk in the middle of its open-air monuments. For those who like it, the challenge remains to climb the 15 meters of the emblematic Tower of the Cathedral that in its times served as a viewpoint and from which today we enjoy an impressive view of the current city.
Next, we will make a leap to the present and the future, touring the Modern City and the Coastal Beltway and then entering the Old Town, a city of colonial origin that dates back to 1673 and that is still more alive and thriving than ever. Beautiful civil monuments and churches of colonial, baroque and neoclassical architecture merge with enthusiastic local passers-by and visitors who enjoy open-air restaurants, bars, hotels, handicraft shops and live music (in the evenings), all surrounded by the waters. from Pacific.
Continuing our tour, we will move to the Islands of the Amador Causeway, a landfill that connects four islands of the Bay of Panama and makes us feel inside the sea. The all-in-one view will allow you to see from a single point and at the same time, the modern city, the Old Town and the Las Americas bridge. Take some free time to enjoy the sea breeze, have a drink in one of its many restaurants.
Day 3: Visit to the Emberá Indigenous Community Querá
This morning we headed towards the Chagres National Park located at 1:15 hours on the way from the city of Panama. Upon arrival, we will address the famous «canoes or canoes» that are traditional embryo boats, wood carved from a single tree trunk.
Ending the journey We foresee the village «Emberá Quera» which means, perfume Embera, where our cordial hosts await us.
From this moment, we will enjoy their music, dances, we will know about their culture, traditions and will visit the villa to visit their habitual residences and the «Chaman» or healer of the tribe, will talk about the healing power of the plants of the jungle. Arrival lunch time, we will taste fish (product of day fishing), fried green banana and fruits.
The Emberá are excellent artisans, retailers and dedicated and if we want to take the memory on our skin, a natural «tatto» is our choice. The indigenous people will paint it with a black ink product of the «Jagua», seed of a local palm.
